New Features

Asycube Clean 230

EYE+ now supports the new Asycube Clean 230. Various illustrations and texts have been adapted to better correspond to this new product.

Asyfill smart hopper fill ratio

With the introduction of the Asyfill smart hopper, it is now possible to obtain more feedback from your hopper. This release introduces a new parameter to the TCP/IP protocol: hopper_fill_ratio and two new error codes (427, 428).

Improvements

General

EYE+ has been updated with improvements to its core systems and user interface. Users may notice minor aesthetic differences, but the overall experience remains consistent.

Acquisition Settings

The Custom region of interest (ROI) can now be defined freely across the entire image. It is no longer restricted to an image-centered area.

Acquisition Lighting Settings

The selection of the lights in Acquisition lighting settings has been improved to better support setups using an Asycube without a backlight installed.

Camera Configuration

Improved pattern recognition during the Vision Calibration. This is particularly noticeable when performing a vision calibration using a frontlight.

Purge

An overlay has been added to the Asycube Purge card when the settings cannot be changed.

Resolved issues

General

Fix the handling of negative and decimal numbers in various input fields. The behavior is now more user-friendly.

Camera Configuration

Fixed and issue where the settings in Camera Configuration Set Lighting would not be used when performing the Vision Calibration.

Dashboard

Resolved an issue where the dashboard could freeze or show errors due to delays in image loading.

Purge

Start purge: In TCP/IP and Fieldbus, error 407 is used when trying to start the purge using a remote recipe on an unconnected remote FTP server.

Hand-eye calibration

Fix invalid migration of the custom ROI in the hand-eye calibration recipe. This even affected a recipe without a custom ROI defined.

Additional information

Upgrade

EYE+ Controller with a serial number greater than A25160000 shall not be downgraded to an EYE+ Studio version below 5.2. Attempts to do so will revert to the previous version upon restarting the EYE+ Controller. Please note that no data loss will occur.
