Plugin errors

601 - Communication error

Signification

An error occurred during the communication operation and was not resolved. You have probably lost one or more communication transfers.

Troubleshoot

  • Check that your Ethernet cable is properly connected between your EYE+ and your robot controller. If everything looks fine, try to restart your EYE+ and/or your robot’s program.

  • Stop the communication using the button Stop in network configuration page. This button will kill the communication between your robot and your EYE+.

Note

If you want to stop all the running programs, you can do a fnct/ABORT (ALL) command from the Tablet TP.

602 - Client configuration error

Signification

The configuration of the communication failed and the communication cannot be started.

Troubleshoot

Check that you have performed the following step properly: Configure the client services.

  • Check that the client numbers you have entered in the EYE+ Network Configuration page are correct. Client 1 must be different than client 2. The following message must appear in Communication settings: Status: Up to date.

  • Make sure to have clicked on the Configure button after choosing the clients to use. The following message must appear after a successful configuration: Status: Succeeded.

  • If this is the first time you configure these clients, restart your robot controller.

603 - Connection failed

Signification

It is not possible to establish a connection with your EYE+.

Troubleshoot

  • Check that your Ethernet cable is properly connected between your EYE+ and your robot controller.

  • Check that the IP address and port number you entered in step Configure the client services are correct.

    Note

    You can try to ping the EYE+ from the EYE+ Network Configuration page. The following message should appear Status: Connected.

  • Check that you have selected the correct end of line character in EYE+ Studio.

    Note

    Refer to section 4. Check the end of line character.

  • Check the state of your EYE+. If your EYE+ is in the Error state, get the logs and restart it.

604 - Plugin timeout

Signification

The plugin has reached a timeout when handling a send or receive to your EYE+. This event occurs if no response is received from EYE+ within 32s.

Troubleshoot

  • Check that the internal EYE+ timeout is not greater than 30 seconds.

    Note

    You can check the internal timeout under Help > TCP Terminal in EYE+ Studio.

  • Check the state of your EYE+. If your EYE+ is in the Error state, get the System logs and restart it.

606 - Wrong input parameters

Signification

One of the input arguments in the last function block used is not valid. The error can either be caused by the type of argument that is not correct, or by the value of the argument that is not valid.

Note

This could happen if you have edited a TP program generated by the teaching editor of FANUC.

Troubleshoot

Check that your input arguments match those specified in the Plugin functions section.

697 - Communication disconnection

Signification

Your EYE+ disconnected while the communication was running.

Troubleshoot

  • Check that your Ethernet cable is properly connected between your EYE+ and your robot controller. If everything looks fine, try to restart your EYE+ and/or your robot’s program.

  • Stop the communication using the button Stop in network configuration page. This button will kill the communication between your robot and your EYE+.

Note

If you want to stop all the running programs, you can do a fnct/ABORT (ALL) command from the tablet TP.

698 - Not connected

Signification

Your EYE+ cannot be pinged by the robot controller.

Troubleshoot

  • Check that your Ethernet cable is properly connected between your EYE+ and your robot controller.

  • Check that the IP address and port number you entered in step Configure the client services are correct.

    Note

    You can try to ping EYE+ from the EYE+ Network Configuration page. The following message should appear Status: Connected.

699 - Generic error

Signification

An unexpected error occurred.

Download the Communication logs of your EYE+ and contact our support team.
