TCP programming guide

The host computer communicates with the EYE+ Controller through TCP/IP protocols. The EYE+ Controller acts as a server and the host communicates as a client. The server does not send constantly data to the client, it only responds to its requests.

The default TCP/IP configuration to enable communication between EYE+ and your robot/PLC through EYE+’s robot Ethernet port is presented in Table 31.

Make sure to have properly connected your robot/PLC to EYE+. Refer to section Robot/PLC.

Note

EYE+ Controller listens to the three ports defined in Table 31 simultaneously, we recommend to choose 7171, however depending on your requirements you might choose another one from the list.
