EYE+ Studio 4.0.0

Released on 2023-03-07

Important

Due to a critical bug, please upgrade to EYE+ Studio 4.0.1 as soon as possible.

New Features

Multi-model

Multi-model enables you to define several models in a single recipe, either to discriminate between different orientations of the same part or different parts altogether, fed using a single hopper. There can be up to 6 models defined per recipe.

This feature requires a specific license (sold separately).

Mirror support

It is now possible to use EYE+ with mirrors.

In the camera configuration wizard, on 5. Set Asycube orientation, a new option allows you to flip the image horizontally or vertically so it’s oriented correctly with regards to the Asycube when using one or several mirrors.

Improvements

General

  • Add Migration Error state explicitly. TCP/IP and Fieldbus commands now can return this state instead of Error.

Production

  • Reduced timing between vibration actions in vibration sequence by training the Asycube communication link.

Resolved Issues

General

  • Recipes list: Fix an issue where the status of the recipes was not updated when the purge status was changed.

  • Recipes list: Fix an issue where a recipe with a long name could break the table layout.

  • Import recipe: Fix an issue where importing a recipe with the same name as an existing one and canceling would trigger an error message.

Camera Configuration wizard

Production

  • Fix an issue where starting the production after a previous unsuccessful attempt would make the system stall.

Recipe wizard

  • 1.2 Image Acquisition: Fix an issue where the frontlight of some Asycube 530 would dim after two seconds.

  • 2.2 Results: Fix an issue where part size range values appeared as rounded when re-opening the step.

  • 4.2 Pick Point Positioning: Fix an issue where snapping one rectangle to another would result in the alignment not being perfect and a small offset remained.

  • 4.2 Pick Point Positioning: Fix an issue where sometimes the keyboard arrows moved the helper geometries in the wrong direction.

Other changes

  • Module configuration: Remove possibility to change EtherNet/IP ™ module’s IP address from EYE+ to prevent conflicts with external tools.
